Mom of the Month- February

When did you join FIT4MOM?

October of 2017 I think. All I remember is it was still super hot out!

What classes do you attend?

Evening Stroller Strides

Who is your workout buddy and their age?

Weston is 22 months- he missed the memo that workout buddies should be encouraging. He laughs at me.

What is your favorite thing about FIT4MOM?

The community of moms! We laugh and vent and share stories all while working out. Being a mom can be lonely so it’s nice to workout with others in the same phase of life.

How has FIT4MOM changed your lifestyle choices?

It has encouraged me to branch out on my own! Prior to having a kiddo, I went to the gym on the regular- but only with my husband. I never had the courage to go to a class or to the gym by myself. Now, on my non Stroller Strides days I take Pilates classes. FIT4MOM gave me the courage to take charge of my own fitness.

What is your favorite beverage?

It would be a tie between my cold brew coffee with honey and a splash of coconut milk and water. My huge hydro flask goes everywhere with me.

What is your favorite dessert?

All of them!! Which is why I work out.

Given 4 hours of free babysitting... what do you do?

Dinner and a massage sounds incredible.

What is your ultimate child free vacation destination?

Bora Bora- those overwater bungalows are goals!!

How has becoming a mother changed you?

I could write a novel!! Becoming a mom is the best and hardest thing I have ever done. And I couldn’t be more grateful!

I am happiest when...

It’s the weekend! My husband works evenings and I work during the day, so the Monday through Friday grind with a toddler by myself wears me thin! I count down every week to when we get to spend family time together.
