MONDAY CRAFT: How Do You Measure Up to a Dino?

Dino Craft - How Do You Measure Up to a Dino?

  1. Find a shady spot in your yard

  2. Have your measuring tape ready

  3. Lay your little on the ground and quickly trace how long they are

  4. Have your kiddo help you measure out the length of their favorite dinos and mark it in chalk

  • T-Rex 18.5 Feet tall

  • Stegosaurus 11 Feet tall

  • Triceratops 9.5 Feet tall

  • Parasaurolophus 9 Feet Tall

  • Maiasaura 8 Feet tall

TUESDAY SCIENCE: Dino Science

Dino Science

  1. Collect your favorite Dinos

  2. Stick the toys in an muffin tin or any freezer safe bowl or cup

  3. Fill tray with water to cover dinos

    1. The bigger the dino the longer it will take to freeze

  4. Place in the freezer for 6+ hours

  5. Once frozen drop frozen toys onto a tray

  6. Use Paint Brushes with warm water to reveal the toy

WEDNESDAY SNACK: Dino Snack

Dino Snack

  1. Grab some stick pretzels, mini marshmallows, yogurt, a paintbrush, a freezer-safe plate, and parchment paper.

  2. Have your little ones press the pretzel sticks into the marshmallows on top of the parchment paper and plate.

  3. Dip the paintbrush into the yogurt and paint your pretzel sticks.

  4. Put the delicious creation into the freezer until the yogurt hardens.

FRIDAY ACTIVITY: Dino Mud Pit

Dino Activity Dino Mud Pit

  1. Grab your washable dinosaur toys

  2. Grab a washable bin or cookie sheet

  3. In a large bowl add 1 cup of cocoa powder, ½ cup of corn starch, 1 cup of water, i cup of old fashioned oats

  4. Add edible mud to bin or cookie sheet (if you want a muddier look add more water)

  5. Now let the little ones give their toys a mud bath!
