OCEAN Week, July 22nd-26th
This week, our summer camp theme is all about Oceans! Your little one is going to want to dive right into these fun activities. Keep on reading for daily activities to do with your kiddos this week.

Supply list for the week:
Water
Vegetable oil
Food coloring
Large jar
Hot glue - optional
Paper plate
Cup cake liners
Goggly eyes
Glue
Scissors
Blue ribbon
Painters tape
Graham crackers
Blue frosting
Goldfish crackers
MONDAY CRAFT: Scaly Fish
Ocean Craft - Scaly Fish
Cut one triangle out of your paper plate, approximately 1/6th of the plate.
Glue the triangle cutout to the back of the plate, only one corner of the triangle touching the plate. This will create your tail.
Cut 10-12 small cupcake liners in half
Use the cupcake liners as scales gluing them to your fish.
Finish your fish with googly eyes
TUESDAY SCIENCE: Ocean Graham Cracker
Ocean Science Activity- Ocean Waves in a Jar
Supplies needed
2 cups of water
2 cups of vegitable oil
Food Coloring
Large Jar
(optional hot glue)
Combine the water and food coloring in the jar then add the oil and cover tightly. To make a wave tilt and gently shake your ocean in a bottle. Watch the wave action in your jar. You can hot glue the caps on to prevent spills.
WEDNESDAY SNACK: Taste Test
Oceans Snack: Ocean Graham Cracker
Supplies needed
Graham Crackers
Blue Frosting
Goldfish Crackers
Sandwich Bag
Begin by crushing 1 sheet of graham crackers in a resealable sandwich bag
Spread blue frosting on a graham cracker sheet, leaving about an inch at the top without icing
Place goldfish on the blue icing
Sprinkle some crushed graham crackers at the bottom
You can add extras if you have them, maybe a sugar pear for bubbles or a swedish fish

FRIDAY ACTIVITY: Ocean Cave Adventure
Ocean Activity: Ocean Cave Adventure
Grab some ribbon in ocean colors—blues, whites, and silvers. You and your little one can cut different lengths of ribbon and tape them to the side of the table, creating an underwater cave. Then, grab ocean animals, mermaids, and water toys, and head into the cave for some underwater adventures!
